Anyone have any recommendations for adults only resorts in the DR where MS suits are acceptable?

Great question!  We have been thinking about visiting DR but definitely want an adults only resort where I can wear my ms suits.

We have been twice to Excellence El Carmen in the last two years.  The wifey had no problem wearing thongs.  She doesn't wear sheer, only in the private plunge pool we had.

We've gone several times, but this past trip, last July 2018 was a disaster.  Seaweed had taken over the entire east coast of DR. Every resort.  The stench was awful, plus the seaweed was piled about 3 feet high all along the coast.  We couldn't even lay on the beach at all or get in the water.  Got stuck at the pool for 6 days.  Expedia or the resort had no notice of this until we got to the resort.  We were pissed!! To say the least.  It may be cleaned up now, but make damn sure you check with reliable sources before going to DR.  I love my MS bikini's but would not wear them around the pool.  The resort was Secrets Cap Cana and we went in July of 2018.

We went in October of 2018 to the DR to the Excellence El Carmen and had no issue with seaweed.

the seaweed is a problem in a lot of the caribbean but the resorts try to make sure you don't know about it. we went to a very exclusive villa in belize and the smell was terrible but they didn't do a thing about it.

that said, we were at excellence in DR a couple of years ago and rented one of their beach cabana things. they have a bed underneath and a deck on top. i started out topless but our waitress was really cool and i stripped down completely. she kept coming up and hanging out with us. im sure a few people noticed but no one ever really seems to look up.

im so sorry. that was at breathless. all their pools were topless and they were pretty lenient. i wore my sheer bottoms all the time and some women were not happy but there husbands seemed to be ok with it. but i emailed them a couple of months ago and now only there big party pool is topless. we only saw one other girl topless there. it seems like they are tightening things up,

not that there's anything wrong with being tight

Went to Excellence El Carmen a couple years ago.  My wife didn't have any issues wearing her MS there.  My profile pic is actually a pic from there.

We had an awesome time at Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana just before Covid hit. She wore MS suits and other thong bikinis. While she was on a cutting edge of suit wearing compared to most, there were no issues. In fact one wonderful staffer complimented her on the variety of bikinis she wore

We are heading to TRS Turquesa (a Grand Palladium resort, adults only) 2/13/21 for a week.  Their Facebook group claims that thongs are perfectly ok and that the beach (Bavaro Beach) at the resort is topless friendly, as well as the patios of the swim-ups and some pools.  We'll post back to let you know the results.  Saw that this was an older post but figured any updated info can't hurt.....

Thongs were fine all week, many other women had them, M was the only one wearing MS that we saw. Also, beach was topless friendly (only M & 1 other did all week) and M was topless at our swim-up suite every day with no issues (except for some prude old biddies who were appalled at seeing some titties, lol, as they were wearing their old lady 1 pieces with knee length skirts, lmao). Didn't go to any of the bigger pools as they had limited bar service because of Covid.

This topic has been quite , but we are Going to DR , Breathless Resort in April, we enjoyed the Cancun Breathless, but wanted a little more freedom in open toplessness and shear, Has anyone been lately ? , we keep hearing of different rules being enforced
