So the better half and I are headed to a beach resort in a couple months. She is open minded, but it's a family friendly resort. I'm looking for suggestions for an MS bikini that is sexy but not too sheer when wet (see what I did there?) and probably not a thong. She likes bright, bold colors but not so much prints. Should I stick with Liquid Metal? What say you, collective SWW wisdom?

You should go with a classic Matte tricot https://malibustrings.com/order/MS10001.html . It is a little sheer when wet – especially in the light colours. If it shall be not-sheer, you should go with an Italian lycra.

Top – Buy her a triangel top (smaller=better),

Bottom – buy a pair of booty shorts for swim. under the booty she can wear a thong for sunbathing – Malibu micro bottom classic or a Tiny bottom (really small) – buy both – you will not regret it. Or you just buy her a Rio Scrunchie bottom or a Lettuce Edge Scrunch Butt bottom... but then you will keep wondering what she looks like in a thong :-)

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! I have settled on going with three options: "Yes" which will be completely non-sheer and not too revealing from another brand. "Maybe" which is actually the suit you linked to but with the scrunchie bottom in the light blue. Then a likely "only wear in our private hot tub" sparkle sheer in royal blue in xxs top.
