After the dust up over the contest and votes the other day I was thinking about ways to make the contests better for members. First I would like to say I enjoy all the contest submissions and I'm really looking forward to the Halloween contest next month.  My suggestion would be that only have 1 winner, then randomly select 9 other entrants to win the 2nd place prize.  I also don't know if just an open vote is the best to select the winner ( I really do not enjoy the solicitations for votes).  Just my thoughts anyone else have any ideas?

I'm okay with the 1 $200 winner and 10 $100 winners, and now that we know to post the pic and see how it goes, I'm fine with the format. If next month we still have issues, it's definitely worth revisiting.... just my humble opinion.

We haven't been bothering to submit. If you aren't in early and then begging for votes it's not worth it. We can't sign in every day and post multiple times with new pics just asking for votes.

To make it better have a shorter entry period and then once all entries are in the voting begins.

I have felt that way too before, if you don't enter day one you are behind for the whole time. Rick would you enter if people were randomly selected for prizes?

Exactly. We decided to enter this one just to see how it goes. Im not sure about the random prizes. I don't believe in participation trophies. I guess everyone looks at pictures and sees different things.

The one frustrating part is that it's hard to tell in some of the photos if they are even wearing MS products. We thought that it had to clearly be a MS product. Not doubting anyone's integrity, but some just don't clearly show it.

Thanks Rick again. My thought with the random winners was more of a raffle type idea, your submission was your entry. I agree MJ about trying to spread the wealth, but maybe just the winner?
